My overall impression of the battery and solar panels is average. This is based on the following:
1) As a few users on YouTube have contested, my iPhone behaves strangely when charged via wireless or USB-C charging. I have not experienced this with other portable batteries.
2) The ALLPOWERS app is notably poor.
3) The Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connection with the app is also not impressive.
4) To update the firmware of the battery, you need to contact ALLPOWERS to get an update code. This seems very cumbersome.
5) In the EU, you cannot yet buy an expansion battery. The R1500 is prepared for it and is also marketed as being able to expand the capacity. But you just can't buy such a battery in their webshop.
6) On a sunny day, the battery charges very well using the 400W panel I bought with it. That's really good.
7) Although the 400W panel can be folded, it still takes up quite a bit of space. If I were going camping in a regular car, I would choose a 200W panel.
8) Operating the battery is easy. It is clearly indicated which buttons turn on and off what.
9) I don't know if it's due to the battery’s BMS, but the battery does not indicate a correct stable curve of usage time. That is, it fluctuates in the number of hours/minutes you can use it, even with a stable draw in watts.
The battery is cheap compared to others. But you also get only what you pay for.
My verdict is between two and three stars.
Easy and efficient. Clear display details of input and output. Solar panels surprisingly sturdy when set up.
